My Top 10 Young Living Essential Oil Must-Haves for Disney World

We recently took our first family trip to Disney World and I was so thankful to have my oils with me! My husband and kids (son age 6 and daughter age 4) enjoyed a few days at the Disney parks and used our oily products all day every day from early morning 'til late at night!

Here are my top 10 must-haves for a trip to Disney:

1. Ningxia Red Singles

These are much easier to travel with than the Ningxia Red glass bottles! My son, daughter, and I split one package each morning before heading off to the parks. Each package is 2 servings, and since I usually give them about 1/2 serving anyways, it worked out perfectly. We got our daily dose of antioxidants before heading off for a day of fun!

2. DIY Thieves Roller Bottle

We use this every morning before leaving the house for immune system support, especially when we will be in crowded public places like Disney World.

3. DIY Bug Spray

This is such a handy product in that hot, humid Florida weather, when afternoon rain showers are a daily constant, and mosquitoes are lurking.

4. DIY Hand Sanitizer

I can't even count the number of times I busted out my bottle of hand sanitizer. We rubbed our hands with it between rides, before and after eating or using a public restroom, and especially after my kids couldn't resist running their hands on every.single.hand.rail in line for every.single.ride. Germ overload! Yuck! Thank goodness for my Thieves!

5. Stress Away with roller attachment

Well, let's get real, who doesn't get a little stressed in a mass of people when trying to keep two children entertained while in countless lines for rides? This is an obvious necessity. I rolled this on my head, my neck, my wrists, repeatedly throughout our crazy, fun, and somewhat stressful days!

6. DIY Peppermint Roller Bottle

Let's just say this is great for after Space Mountain or Mission: SPACE or any other stomach-turning ride! And, of course, it works after questionable Disney meals, as well. You know your Disney diet in no way resembles what you'd be eating normally at home (I am ashamed to admit that my kids lived off of hot dogs an mac n cheese all week at the parks). So, thank goodness for a little soothing peppermint for our not-so-happy tummies!

7. Peppermint Essential Oil

I added a drop of this to my water bottle after refilling it with the water fountains, and boy did it help make it taste better, while also helping to soothe that grumbling tummy of mine!

8. Lavender Essential Oil

Our kids' nightly baths sure were nice with a few drops of lavender added in. The comforting scent helped calm them after a long day of excitement!

9. DIY After Sun Spray

We tried our best to keep up with re-applying sunscreen, but that Florida sun can sure be ruthless! This spray certainly felt great on the skin after being in the sun all day!

10. Cool Azul Sports Gel

Oh, how my legs did ache at the end of each day! But, Cool Azul came to my rescue. Right before laying down in bed, I rubbed my legs down with this awesome sports gel and was ready to rock the next morning. This cool, refreshing gel helped revitalize my achy muscles!

If you're planning a trip to Disney, I hope you'll keep these tips in mind, and if you have any tips to share, please comment and let us know!

As a final dietary tip for this 5-part Vitality Oils series, make sure you stay well-hydrated each day.
As quoted from Young Living Blog: (https://www.youngliving.com/blog/easy-recipes-to-help-keep-your-new-years-resolutions/)
Most importantly, make sure you are drinking enough water each day to keep hydrated and help your body perform at its best. According to the Mayo Clinic’s online article, Nutrition and Healthy Eating, “water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells, and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.” The article also states “the Institute of Medicine determined that an adequate intake for men is roughly about 13 cups (3 liters) of total beverages a day. The adequate intake for women is about 9 cups (2.2 liters) of total beverages a day.”
For those not currently drinking enough water, it can be difficult to increase this habit. So try spicing it up with just a few drops of Vitality™ essential oils! We suggest 2 drops per 20 ounces for a nice hint of flavor of Citrus Fresh Vitality™, Grapefruit Vitality™, Jade Lemon Vitality™, Lavender Vitality™, Lemon Vitality™, Lime Vitality™, Orange Vitality™ and Tangerine Vitality™. But you may find other more savory oils you enjoy such as Ginger Vitality™, Peppermint Vitality™, or Cinnamon Bark Vitality™. Have fun playing with your own special blends and you’ll be drinking plenty of delicious, beneficial water in no time!”

Why do we incorporate these oils into our cooking? Besides their ease of use versus their fresh and dried counterparts, and their amazing health benefits, they are incredibly cost effective! Considering we typically only use 1-2 drops per recipe, check out the price per drop of each Vitality Oil:
